Audlem prepares itself for its 15th annual Music & Arts Festival on May 21st 2015. Entry to all the events is free, with performances from talented performers and artists from across the UK, Europe and beyond.

There will be Rock, Acoustic, Folk, a cappella and even Funk performed on outside stages at The Shroppie Fly, The Bridge Inn and The Lord Combermere as well as a brand new venue at No. 11 Cheshire Street.

Saturday 23rd May will be Choral day in St James Church and classical music in The Methodist Church, which will also host the Art Exhibition featuring local and regional talent.

To name just a few… Emma Purshouse will be hosting the 4th Audlem Festival Poetry Slam – up to 15 performance poets going head-to-head in a live poetry competition. Performers from near and far will make you laugh, cry and think during this very popular festival event – The Bridge Inn, 7:30pm on Thurday the 21st.

Papa Funk are a groovy soul band bringing together some of the hottest talent in the Northwest, with funky bass lines and tight rhythms – at The Lord Combermere on Saturday 23rd May at 3:00pm.

Loud Mouth Women Choir are festival favourites, performing as part of the Choral Day on Saturday 23rd May at 4:30pm with their special brand of a cappella songs from around the world.

Singer/Songwriter Megan Kelsey plays both piano and guitar, performing a mixture of acoustic folk and pop at The Courtyard – No. 11 Cheshire Street for her first visit to our festival in Audlem – on Sunday at 11:00 am
